HELLO THERE!

This web site is a tool that we have used successfully for the past few years. It's a way that our members and our many biker and non-biker friends around the state of Florida; and other cities will know what's happening with Cocoa Motorcycle Riders Club on any given week or month. We update this site on a weekly basis. Our first priority is our community; especially our "at risk youth of today". We must learn how to relate and understand our youth. We must learn patience in our daily routines. Teaching Love; Understanding and Patience each day. Anything negative you've heard in conversation about this club, it would be wise to get the facts before it's repeated. And the way you get the facts; contact "US".  Our fundraising actually pays our bills and of course we need your help to make it successful. And for those of you who have been very supportive of this organization; we are truly grateful.

Sincerely,

Your Webmistress...

HOW WE STARTED AND WHAT WE DO AS A GROUP...

Cocoa Motorcycle Riders Club started in the summer of 1991;  in a warehouse called "griffin warehouses" under the name of "clean car detailing". Then changed to the present name of COCOA MOTORCYCLE RIDERS CLUB, INC. Founder's Milton, Blue & Kathy worked hard on a vision that would motivate them; because they loved riding motorcycles and their community. There were not a lot of urban bike clubs in the community; so the plan was put into motion and a new club was on the map.

We had a vision and worked at it for a long time; until it became  reality. Traveling with "Blue" and meeting those who rode as well; was a great venture. "Blue" would never wait on another person to make up his or her mind about when they wanted to ride; he would be in the wind before you had time to think. As a Non-Profit group; we're always busy in our community, helping others. Our Food & Clothing is stocked by donated items from our club members and members of our community. There are several Poker Runs scheduled and that money is donated to that benefit or fundraiser and not the club.

Members pay dues monthly; to help with bereavements, birthdays, illnesses and other expenses as needed. Our clubhouse was designed to accommodate other clubs in our community who wish to have fundraisers or meetings. We can only make a suggestion or give an invite.  We can't make another club want to join in our endeavors; but as we continue to teach "UNITY", we hope eventually all clubs will join together to help each other from time to time.

CMRC is also an assist reprensentative through Florida Power and Light; when funds are available. Ms. Kathy who is with Red Cross will always try to find out where help is needed during hurricane season or any other type of disaster.  We are currently working on a program for our area neighborhoods; that  will be discussed at the "RAV" mentoring session. Ms. Kathy also does the "Pillow Program" every eight months with our Senior Residents. She is very concerned about her Senior Program. Visits to area hospitals and  rehabilitation facilities is very important; especially those who do not have relatives to visit them on a daily basis. Everyone deserves a smile and a little uplifting.Smile

If you would like to donate to "Cocoa Motorcycle Riders Club" Or "Riding Against Violence"; we're always in need of your donations to help others.
